Hi all,
The next lab meeting will be on Tuesday 21st March at 11am in room 1.58 main building. As
I said before I wanted to included a short “tech talk” section of the meetings to vary it
a bit. I will start this by discussing the nuances of sample solution introduction for
ICPMS.
I also need to remind people about ettiequte in the clean labs. Like always, we are very
busy at the moment. Consequently we need to be courteous to others working in the lab
alongside us. Please adhere to the booking sheet on teams and only use the hood space you
have booked. Remember to only use hotplates for as long as your procedure dictates and
remove samples when finished. Use of the low level lab is for low level work only and
traffic into this lab should be kept to a minimum. If you are looking for something that
you can’t find then please ask Lizan or myself.
Cheers,
Edward
