Dear all,

This is (finally!) the official announcement of the next meeting of the UK Metric Geometry & Analysis Network, taking place from Monday, 13 July, until Friday, 17 July, in Durham.  In particular, we are excited that we will have a number of speakers with expertise in metric geometry and analysis visiting from Japan.

The schedule you find on the webpage is currently tentative, but please note that the first talk will begin on the morning of Monday, 13 July, and the last talk will finish at (or before) 1pm on Friday, 17 July.  

There will be some funding available to help with the travel costs of network members, if necessary.  

Moreover, to help keep costs down, we have secured a block of rooms in Durham's on-campus accommodation.  Each (single, en-suite) room will cost £72 per night, including breakfast.  You will receive a booking link once you have completed registration.

The conference banquet will take place on the evening of Tuesday, 14 July, and there will be an excursion to Durham Cathedral (and possibly castle: TBC), a UNESCO world heritage site, on Wednesday 15 July.

We hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend.
