Please find below a proposed tentative agenda for our SemanticLCA full day workshop. You
are invited to join and attend all the WP-dedicated sessions. However, feel free to
drop-out or join-in as and when necessary. Please note that the timing below is in Central
European Summer Time (i.e. CEST - Luxembourg Time).
10:00 - 11:00 CEST (09:00 - 10:00 BST): WP1: Contextualising LCA through Semantics (IP)
This session will discuss and elaborate on the following points:
* Preparation work towards the delivery of a Questionnaire survey on life cycle
assessment practices in industry across UK and Luxembourg.
* Preparation work towards the organization of a Workshop with 25+ LCA experts across
Europe facilitated by the ECTP.
* Preparation work towards the delivery of an Inventory of existing life cycle
assessment databases, methods, standards, and tools and elicit their underpinning
semantics.
11:00 - 12:00 CEST (10:00 - 11:00 BST): WP2: Delivering Realtime LCA
This session will discuss and elaborate on the following points:
* Discussion of the methodology to deliver real-time accounts of life cycle
performance of buildings and districts using multi-aspects sensory data.
* Discussion of the methodology to deliver an enhanced BIM and District semantic
models for LCA.
12:00 - 13:30 CEST (11:00 - 12:30 BST): Lunch
13:30 - 14:30 CEST (12:30 - 13:30 BST): WP3: Minimizing life cycle impacts through
actionable machine-learning
This session will discuss and elaborate on the following points:
* LIST to present background to their work on LCA
* CU to present background on CUSP
* LIST to conduct workshop on their use of Brightway2 - short tutorials / knowledge of
past projects
* CU to present background on CUSP Semantics and past use of semantics.
14:30 - 15:30 CEST (13:30 - 14:30 BST): WP4: Demonstrating and validating SemanticLCA on
real case studies
This session will discuss and elaborate on the following points:
* Engagement with the value chains associated with demo sites in both Belval and
Cardiff.
* Alignment of sensing scopes, and possible equipment, across both sites.
* Management of the infrastructures enabling local data collection, storage and
prepare future access to data.
15:30 - 16:00 CEST (14:30 - 15:00 BST): Other Actions
* Engagement with stakeholders having signed a letter of Support in Luxembourg and
UK.
* Grimshaw new contact.
* Consortium Agreement.
