Causal learning
We are inviting people to take part in a short and engaging psychology experiment investigating how people learn relationships between visual signals and outcomes. In this computer-based task, you will observe simple visual displays involving coloured circles and make intuitive judgments about how strongly different colours predict a subsequent outcome. The study is easy to follow, requires no prior knowledge, and includes a brief practice session and two short task blocks, with a very simple arithmetic task in between. The experiment takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete, involves no known risks beyond normal computer use. By taking part, you will contribute to ongoing research on learning, perception, and conceptual knowledge.
