The scheme aims to pair mentees with more established geochemist mentors, who can provide pastoral support and guidance based on their personal experience and knowledge in the field. The GGMS is open to PhD students and ECRs at UK and Northern Ireland based institutions with a membership to either Mineralogical Society of the UK and Ireland, and/or the Geological Society of London. The scheme will run from December 2024 to June 2025, during which time you will partake in one kick-off meeting in December and 3 or 4 one-on-one online meetings with your mentor over the course of 2025.
