Hi all,
A few of us were thinking that it might be fun to put together a sweepstake for the Tour
de France and were wondering if you might be interested in joining (this is not an
exclusive list so feel free to pass it to anyone). We’ve done a bit of online research and
here is how it would work. Should be a bit of fun for the next 3 weeks.
We randomly choose a team of riders for each player (there are 22 teams of 8 riders
competing).
We assign team points based on the performance of the individual riders on the team
(scoring below). Given different teams have different goals for the tour, we have tried to
balance the scoring away from teams that are only after the general classification
£5 to enter a team, that will be divvied out to the top 3 at the end (something like £55
for first, £35 for second, £20 for third).
If you’re interested, just let me know
