Hi again,

Estates have let me know that they will be working far enough away from the -1.42 instrument room extraction stack, so the roof work will go ahead nest week  on Tuesday 5th Nov, (the Thermo engineer will still be okay to work on the Neoma in -1.42 on Tuesday)

Both CELTIC clean labs, -1.42A and -1.39, and the instruments in -1.34 will still be out of use for this day, Tues 5th Nov.

Thank you,
Lindsey

Hi everyone,

Marc has let me know that the Thermo engineer is here on Monday to  hopefully repair the Neoma, which may run into Tuesday too, so we'll be looking to give Estates Tuesday to work on the roof, if the work on the Neoma is complete, but if not we will offer Wednesday 6th Nov.

Asta, I see you have instrument work booked with Ed, hopefully this can be delayed until Thursday, but please let me know if this will cause major issues.

Just to note, we need agreement from 3 schools for the shut down date, so I'll confirm once Chemistry and MDI have also agreed.

Cheers,
Lindsey

Hi All,

Chemistry has had to evacuate a lab on the ground floor today as there is problem with their extraction. As such they are keen for Estates to get onto the South Central roof asap and this will put the fume hoods and extracting instruments out of use for one day in the CELTIC labs, 2.10, 2.35, 1.31, 2.17 and 2.19.

I've looked at the booking sheet for the CELTIC labs, and Tuesday 5th November looks to be a suitable day to put the extraction out of use and close the labs (currently no booking for instruments or clean labs).

Please could you let me know asap if this will cause you any problems.

Many thanks,
Lindsey
