Hi all,

The time for farewell has come, sadly.

You probably know that the 31^st of January will be my last day in EARTH. I would like to enjoy some afterwork drinks in the Pen & Wig, one last time, with all of you. I will be there on the 31^st from 5pm onwards, come join me if you can! 😃

Feel free to pass the invitation along, because the more, the merrier!

Many things have changed since the 1^st time I set foot in the department back in 2018 …. But the P&W persists (for good or for bad).  Of course, it is the only place where farewell drinks could take part.

I will be in Cardiff until mid Feb, then I will fly out to warmer, more humid, places (i.e., Tallahassee) to continue my dream career of firing lasers at corals and such. I am going to miss Cardiff (and the UK) a lot, but I am excited for the sunshine!

Working with all of you has been amazing. I have learnt a lot about how to be a good scientist, a good mentor, and a good colleague, and that is thanks to you all. I will miss you, and I hope we get to see each other again soon.
